This danger is genuine with Pit Bulls and Rottweilers trained to be attack dogs. The attack illustrates the liability of the attack and the natural consequences of such an attack.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/abc7.com\/1976289\/\" rel=\"noopener\">ABC7 reported<\/a> on the incident, which sent shockwaves through the area. The LAPD&#8217;s shooting of three pit bulls is nothing new. Two of the three dogs died. Furthermore, the event occurred because the dogs attacked a man walking his dog downtown. The man was in his 50s and ignoring the animals.<\/p>\n<p>The attack happened near the corner of Stanford Avenue and 5th Street around 8:30 in the morning. There was a call for help. When the police arrived, the man was under attack.<\/p>\n<p>A viral video shows the dogs on top of the man. The pit bulls tore apart the man&#8217;s dog. The police first tried clubbing the dogs but had no choice but to open fire. The victim is at the hospital, treated for lacerations and multiple bites.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\">Who is Responsible?<\/h2>\n<p>Often responsibility falls to the owner. This ownership is especially true if the owner knew that the dogs represented a danger earlier. Furthermore, the owner would be warned if the dog or dogs bit another person earlier. All of this shows that ignorance is no excuse.<\/p>\n<p>The accident victim can sue the owner and possibly other defendants. Perhaps local police or animal control earlier ignored these dogs&#8217; danger. Besides, the victim can sue for the cost of the injury and all rehab costs. He can also sue for the mental distress of seeing his beloved dog killed in front of his eyes.<\/p>\n<p>All of this adds up to a challenging situation. The injury victim needs to assert his rights.
