The four occupants were pronounced dead as soon as the officers arrived at the accident scene.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Placer County sheriff&#8217;s office identified three passengers; Patrick Gainer, Paul Hammack, and Karan Pannu. They also revealed the identity of the driver, Jerry Cepel, 61-year-old Granite Bay resident.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The witness spoke to the California Highway Police officials, informing them that the cause of the accident was overspeeding.
