Charter Bus and FedEx Truck Collide on I-20, Leaving Two People Injured

Accidents involving large vehicles often have devastating consequences. Because of the sheer weight and size of buses and trucks, even a minor collision can have a deadly outcome. A Texas car crash involving a FedEx truck and charter bus left two people seriously injured.

What Happened

Two individuals were injured in a collision involving a FedEx truck and charter bus on December 9 at 2:56 p.m. The accident occurred on the I-20 in Palo Pinto County, Texas while en route to Friday’s state semifinals in Abilene.

Filing a Claim for Injuries

Accidents involving commercial trucks differ from those involving other vehicles. This is mainly because the cases are complicated. After all, numerous parties could be held accountable for the damages incurred. Victims must seek the assistance of a knowledgeable truck accident attorney to navigate liabilities.

In addition to the driver, numerous others may be held accountable for a commercial traffic collision. A corporation that employed the driver can be held responsible for the crash, or a lawyer might extend the truck’s manufacturer’s liability if the incident resulted from a mechanical fault.

Furthermore, the employer or independent driver might be held liable for carelessness if they fail to get the vehicle regularly inspected and maintained. An accomplished lawyer can assist injured victims in obtaining the compensation they require for lost wages and medical costs.
